Fully refined paraffin wax is a kind of mineral wax, but also a kind of protective wax; It is from the lubricating oil fraction obtained by distillation of crude oil by solvent refining, solvent dewaxing or wax frozen crystallization, press dewaxing wax paste, and then by solvent deoil, refined and flake or needle crystal. Also known as crystal wax, carbon atom number is about 18 ~ 30 of the hydrocarbon mixture, mainly divided into straight chain alkanes (about 80% ~ 95%), there are a small number of individual branch chain alkanes and long side chain of the single ring cycloalkanes (the total content of both below 20%). The main quality indicators are melting point and oil content, the former means temperature resistance, the latter means purity. Each type of wax is divided into different varieties according to the melting point, generally every 2 ° C.

Fully refined paraffin can be divided into three types according to the degree of processing and refining, namely, fully refined paraffin, semi-refined paraffin and crude paraffin. Widely among them before the two purposes, mainly used as food and other commodities, such as wax paper, crayons, candles, carbon paper) of components and packing materials, baking container with dressing, cosmetics raw materials, used for fruit preservation, improve rubber insulation aging resistance and increase flexibility, electrical apparatus, precision casting, etc., can also be used to generate synthetic fatty acid oxidation. Crude paraffin because of its high oil content, most are used in the manufacture of matches, fiberboard, canvas and so on. After ADDING POLYOLEFIN ADDITIVE TO PARAFFIN, its melting point is increased, its adhesion and flexibility are increased, and it is widely used in the production of moisture-proof and waterproof wrapping paper, cardboard, surface coating of some textiles and candles.

The use of fully refined paraffin is very wide. The paper immersed in paraffin wax can be prepared with good waterproof performance of various wax paper, can be used in food, medicine and other packaging, metal rust and printing industry; When paraffin is added to cotton yarn, it can make the textile soft, smooth and elastic. Paraffin can also be made of detergent, emulsifier, dispersant, plasticizer, grease, etc. As the resources of animal and plant wax are increasingly strained, most candles are now made from paraffin wax. Paraffin melts when heated, and candle burns with light, black smoke and exothermic heat.

Fully refined paraffin

There are several theories about the chemical symbols of fully refined paraffin wax. One theory is that the main components of paraffin wax are a mixture of C and H elements. (May contain oxygen, but not mainly) Its chemical symbol is CxHy. Another way of saying it is that paraffin is a mixture of several higher alkanes, mainly n-doxane (C22H46) and n-doxoctane (C28H58), containing about 85% carbon and 14% hydrogen. There is no single chemical element symbol.

Fully refined paraffin wax, also known as crystal wax, carbon atom number of about 18 ~ 30 hydrocarbons mixture, mainly divided into straight chain alkanes (about 80% ~ 95%), there are a small number of individual branch chain alkanes and long side chain of the single ring cycloalkanes (the total content of both below 20%). Paraffin is the wax paste made by solvent refining, solvent dewaxing or wax freezing crystallization, press dewaxing, and then deoiling, and supplement refined flake or needle crystal. According to the different degree of refining, it can be divided into three kinds: full refined paraffin, semi-refined paraffin and crude paraffin. Each type of wax is divided into different varieties according to the melting point, generally every 2℃, such as 52,54,56,58 and other grades. Crude paraffin has a high oil content, most of which are used in the manufacture of matches, fiberboard, canvas and so on. Fully refined paraffin wax and semi-refined paraffin wax are widely used, mainly used as components and packaging materials of food, oral medicine and some commodities (such as wax paper, crayons, candles, carbon paper), dressing for baking containers, fruit preservation, insulation of electrical components, improving rubber aging resistance and flexibility, etc. It can also be used for oxidation to produce synthetic fatty acids.

Storage needs to pay attention to a few points: store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. Should be stored separately from the oxidant, do not mix storage. Equip the appropriate type and quantity of fire fighting equipment. The storage area shall be equipped with suitable materials to hold the leakage
